Our
growing land can be found in the outskirts of Abaujszántó
at the farmtrack of Krakkó-Hill,
Kassatown. Here, the soil was composed
mainly from riolit, zeolit, andesit and their tuffs.
The decisive part of the track- soil is hard-grounded
clay, and the upper part of the hillside is stony
and gritty. Those of the wines yield on these areas
are rich in aroma and their acid content is complex.
The Aszu-making dry maturation process can be proceeded
here because of the climate and specific weather periods.
The precipitation and/or humid weather during maturation
-in most cases - is followed by cloudless, sunny period.
This fact has extraordinary beneficial effect on creation
of Aszu and is supported by botrytic cinerea.
